The Metropolitan Region of The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc., has 22 chapters in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Chapter locations and meeting times are listed below.
All chapter members may participate in all chapter and region activities. Chapter membership provides the opportunity to meet other stitchers, attend programs, participate in many educational offerings, receive a newsletter, and learn hands-on stitching at all levels in a wide variety of techniques. Chapters often organize local exhibits of members' work.
The Metropolitan Region sponsors a seminar every other year with nationally acclaimed teachers. The region has three meetings a year, a newsletter, region-wide correspondence courses, a "challenge" group called "Explorers," and sponsors occasional region-wide exhibits.
